Sampling is where a test result begins. A sample that does not represent the lot gives a result that cannot be relied on, so we take it under an agreed plan and record how it was taken.
What this can cover
- Sampling plan agreed with you before work begins
- Representative sampling from lots, containers, stockpiles or production lines
- Sealing, labelling and sample identity records
- Chain of custody to the laboratory you name
- Retained samples where requested
- Photographs of the lot and of the sampling
What you receive
A sampling report that identifies the lot, the method used, each sample taken and who held it until delivery.
Scope, method and the standard or specification used are agreed with you in writing before work begins.
